YOU KNOW HIM FROM: He co-starred with Jennifer

Garner on “Alias” (2001-06) and also headlined the short-lived ABC drama “Big Shots” (2007-08).

NEW GIG: He’ll co-star in TNT’s “Time Heals,” a drama centered on the head of nursing (Jada Pinkett-Smith) at a hospital in North Carolina. Vartan will play the hospital’s director of medicine, who works closely with Pinkett-Smith’s character and may have a personal relationship with her as well. Vartan takes over the role from Jeffrey Nordling (“24″), who played the part in the pilot.
